Is this for me?
Gut-Directed Hypnotherapy for IBS and gut-brain conditions
Feel more in control of your gut, so symptoms stop running your life
IBS and other DGBI hypnotherapy support with clarity, compassion and a sustainable approach to long-term change
Healing starts with belief. So that’s where we begin
I Believe…So my gut listens
I Believe…So my body responds
I Believe…So I start to trust my body
I Believe…So Hypnotherapy might be the missing piece to your healing journey
How I can help you
I’m Klara, a Registered Nurse in Digestive Health and a Gut-Directed Hypnotherapist. I support people experiencing a wide range of challenges from IBS and other Disorders of Gut–Brain Interaction (DGBIs) to the emotional, behavioural, and lifestyle patterns that can influence, accompany, or exist entirely separate from digestive symptoms.
DGBIs are conditions where the gut appears healthy on medical tests, yet the communication between the gut and brain becomes disrupted. This miscommunication can create very real and often life impacting symptoms. Many people also find themselves navigating patterns in their relationships, thinking, and behaviour that shape their overall wellbeing.
My approach brings together GDH (Gut-Directed Hypnotherapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) approaches, and evidence‑based gut–brain tools to help you feel more in control of your symptoms, your emotions, and your life. I am bound by the NMC Nursing Code meaning ethical practice is at the core of the work I provide. I also integrate somatic practices, breathwork, and vocal‑sounding for vagus nerve toning to support nervous system regulation, cultivate a sense of safety, and enhance the effectiveness of hypnotherapy.
My work is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and practical tools that help you understand your symptoms, reduce distress, and build confidence in your body and your choices. If you’re ready to explore a calmer, more connected relationship with your gut and your wellbeing, I’m here to support you.
1:1 The Gut Instinct Programme
A structured, evidence-based programme delivered with 1:1 support, designed to retrain the gut-brain axis, reduce visceral hypersensitivity, and support calmer, more predictable digestive function. Particularly suited to those seeking a more personalised level of care, enhanced support throughout their journey, or help with more complex symptom presentations.
How it works
Through repetition, sequencing, and targeted GDH interventions, this programme supports steady, meaningful progress. Not quick fixes.
It’s designed for people who are ready to do the work, committed, engaged, and prepared to invest in their health.
Ideal for those seeking long‑term regulation of both digestive and nervous‑system responses, rather than short‑term symptom relief.

Start with a free suitability call to see if the group programme is the right fit for you.
A 3‑month nurse‑led Gut‑Directed Hypnotherapy programme designed for those who prefer healing within a supportive group space. The programme begins with a full initial clinical assessment session to gather relevant information, set goals and prepare you for the group session format. This container brings together six live online GDH sessions delivered fortnightly on a Tuesday evenings (45–60 minutes), weekly guided practices, and a moderated Tuesday afternoon WhatsApp discussion window for shared reflection, Q&A and gentle accountability. You’ll also receive a comprehensive PDF workbook and access to all hypnotherapy recordings to deepen your practice between sessions and an optional 30-minute follow-up session, available three months after programme completion.
During the programme you can have as much or as little input, there is no need to share any information on your symptoms during the group sessions. Many people find it helpful and supportive to journey along with others with a similar health condition.
The next group programme will begin Tuesday 13th October at 7pm and further dates will be confirmed once you register. Total investment: £480.
